Alastair just returned from filling for John Roth on guitar with Starship featuring Mickey Thomas. In addition to playing Lynyrd Skynrd's Simple Man Cruise VIII, Starship played Ribfest in St. Petersburg, Florida in front of a reported 20,000 people.

After Starship's set Alastair was asked to sit in on a Blues number with the next act, Les Stroud aka Survivorman from the hit TV show of the same name.
