After attending the 26th Blues Music Awards in Memphis on May 7th, Alastair kicked off the Play It Forward Benefit for Generation Blues at The Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street. Supported by the Andy T Band, Alastair played a short and spirited set. Later that night he joined Bob Margolin onstage at the Rum Boogie Cafe for the VizzTone Label Group showcase. Also onstage for the jams at the Rum Boogie with Alastair were vocalist Long Tall Deb and harmonica player Richard 'Rosy' Rosenblatt.
